Planting

The land is made with detailed darkness, not missing a corner
Looking appealing
Looking radiant as ever
Consuming the fruit it bears and as the minds take a quick glance
Captured by the utter darkness
Once your hooked
Once your tricked
Once your took
There's only one way out
Stumbling around the addictive tarn
Never seeming to come off
Scraping and scraping
Soon to find out there is nothing left…
There's nothing left
Dead is the flower in mid blizzard
Not getting up
The way out, where is it?
The way out, where is it?
Where's the exit?
I can't see it!!!
I can't see!!!
The sun still asleep
Aching for a breath of freedom and life
Waiting
Waiting
For that glimpse of hope
Just a peek
That's all
one glance
Shrieking back waiting to die

Unexpectedly the Light pierces the murky tar
In shock giving hope
The flower twitches
Life was presented as a beacon
Freedom permeated the air
And behold
In the midst of darkness
Planted there
Standing strong
Rooted so fast but deep
A lamp post
Pealing back the darkness
Shriveling the tar
Fresh life growing as a willow tree
And behold
In the midst of darkness
Planted there
Standing strong
Rooted so fast but deep
A lamp post
Freedom was brought, given and desired deep down
And behold
In the midst of darkness
Planted there
Standing strong
Rooted so fast but deep
A lamp post
Shining extravagantly with pure untainted life
Planted there
Rooted so fast but deep
A lamp post
A beacon of life
